Statement
短期間ではあったが、武蔵野美術大学在学中に小林のりお教授に写真を教わったことがきっかけとなり、2007年に私は写真を撮り始めた。人物を撮ることに興味のなかった私の関心は道端の景色や地面に落ちている物などに集中した。ソリッドで、かつ強烈なイメージだけが私に生の実感を与え、救ってくれる唯一のものでもあった。
I studied under Professor Norio Kobayashi in the College of Art and Design, Department of Imaging Arts and Sciences at Musashino Art University for a short time and started taking photographs in 2007. Since I’m not particularly interested in people, I mostly took pictures of the scenery along the road and objects I saw lying around. The only thing that saved me was a solid, strong image that gave me a sense of being alive.
